About

I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Sandy Patrick, formulator and creator of Bean Natural Skin Care.

At Bean Natural Skin Care, we hold ourselves up to the highest of standards.  We have been part of this Skin Care industry since 2019 and we are evolving each day.

I started my journey in 2014. I have completed a 3 year course in Science in Formulating Organic Skin Care. This has been a dream of mine since I was young. For me, my reason was my Mom! She was in an accident when she was 6 and suffered 3rd degree burns on her hands, face and neck which permanently scared her for life. At the age of 10, I self taught myself through old herbal books to make macerated salves from fresh dried herbs and even Turmeric. They did make a noticeable difference! My Mom passed away at 49 and I was 29. So there went my motivation. When I turned 50 the "desire" came back and I immediately took the courses. Now, you might wonder why I would name my natural skin care line Bean lol? Well as my boys (now 26 and 22) grew and I did not, my oldest son decided to call me Mama Bean, "cause you are little like a Bean" LOL and because they have been my biggest fans, huge supporters, motivational companions, logo maker, tech support etc etc and my only "tester humans, without complaints" lol it only seemed suited to be the perfect name!!

My mission is to formulate truly natural and organic skin care made and sourced in Canada. I am currently sourcing 98% of my ingredients Canadian and as much as I can locally. As my company is still young and continue to expand our practices each and every day.  I am also looking into more sustainable packaging as well. For now my packaging is recyclable glass.

I also provide one on one consulting as to addressing each skin care pain and formulate accordingly with the greatest degree of precision and care until that skin care pain becomes a pleasure!
